BJP does not promote political dynasty, says CM Chouhan

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Mounting a scathing attack on Congress, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said the BJP was not promoting the dynasty in politics. The BJP still prefers fielding common party workers. “The BJP presented the Draupati Murmu tribe as presidential candidates and two women from the categories reserved for Rajya Sabha,” he said at a public meeting in Gwalior on Sunday to support the BJP mayoral candidate, Suman Verma. He also spoke at a public meeting in Guna.
“Even in the civic body polls, the BJP has given preference to common party workers for mayoral candidates while the Congress has no choice but to field former mayors or MPs. In Congress, only the Gandhi family dominates. Rajiv Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and the trend continues,” Chouhan remarked.
He added: “Kamal Nath went to Maharashtra to save the government of Uddhav Thackeray. Kamal Nath could not save his own government in Madhya Pradesh, how can he save the Uddhav Thackeray government in Maharashtra?
Going after Kamal Nath, Shivraj said, “Kamal Nath has arrested Sambal Yojana. It is beyond imagination why Kamal Nath stopped the distribution of Saunth laddoos given to women after childbirth.
Going after Congress leader Digvijaya Singh told Guna: “Digvijaya Singh said he was denying tickets to party workers. But I am asking here why he deleted the names of the beneficiaries in Sambal Yojana. I restarted Sambal Yojana. Under it, 16,000 rupees will be given to pregnant women and the government will pay the higher education fees of deserving students.
